Israel Gwinyai Mawoyo is a Zimbabwean who migrated to South Africa in pursuit of higher education. He holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Human and Societal Dynamics) degree and an Honors degree in Sociology as well as a Certificate in Project Management. Currently he is busy with his Masters in Gender Studies. All these qualifications were obtained through the University of the Free State. Israel is passionate about photography and he aspires to tell stories of the individuals, communities and objects that make up his world through the lens of his camera.
