Sarah Schäfer is a freelance journalist, writer, photographer and occasional piano teacher based in Cape Town.
After graduating from Rhodes University in 2009, she moved to Cape Town, and now finds it hard to leave the mountain for too long.
She loves photographs that tell stories and spending time getting to know her subject. Documentary photography and reportage is her first love. But she has expanded her range of photography over the past few years and also shoots food and portraits for various magazines and publishers.
Her work has been published and exhibited locally and internationally.
