Janice Warman grew up in Cape Town and studied journalism at Rhodes University in Grahamstown. She has worked as a financial journalist for BBC Radio 4, the Financial Times, the Guardian, The Observer and The Spectator. Her books include The World Beneath (Walker Books) and Class of 79 (Jacana).
