Peter Volmink

Peter grew up in Belgravia Estate, Athlone  on the Cape Flats where he attended Alexander Sinton High School. After matriculating, he obtained a BA.LLB degree from UCT. After serving articles with a firm of attorneys he obtained an LLM degree in administrative law from Duke Law School, in the US. He worked previously at the Community Law Centre (now the Dullah Omar Institute) at the University of the Western Cape and practised at the Cape Bar before joining the Asset Forfeiture Unit of the NPA. He currently works as Executive Manager: Governance for a major public entity, where he specialises in procurement law. He is currently based in Gauteng.
