Magnificent Mndebele grew up in a dusty village called Thokozane in Mpumalanga and is the founder and Managing Editor of The Open Journal which works with students at the University of Johannesburg and champions “authentic storytelling”. Magnificent focuses on investigative journalism and specialises in politics and societal issues affecting the most vulnerable citizens. He is a freelance journalist and photographer.
