Zukiswa Kota is the Head of the Monitoring and Advocacy Programme at the Public Service Accountability Monitor (PSAM) at Rhodes University in the Eastern Cape. She is also the lead coordinator of a civil society coalition working to promote budget transparency, IMALI YETHU. The coalition is working alongside the South African National Treasury to develop an online budget data portal, www.vulekamali.gov.za
