Yipeng Xi is a doctoral student in the Department of Communication and New Media, National University of Singapore. His research focuses on digital culture and digital activism in authoritarian regimes. Currently, his work on citizen engagement, public opinion and collective movement has appeared in several Chinese-language and English journals.
